I haven’t done a what to wear in a while… here is a fall inspired family what to wear (although, it could defintely work throughout the winter as well).  Notice how the colors work together, but are not all matched. There are also fun accessories and different textures that really give some interest for the photos.

The Afruma family won my location contest back over the summer and we finally got a chance to meet for their free session.  The location they picked (and that won the contest for them) was the Novelty Hill/Januik Winery.  There were so many great colors and textures to use at this location… I hope to be able to use it again sometime.

I have had the opportunity to photograph this little cutie a couple times… check out her newborn photos and the recent family photos.  Elsa was a little stinker this time, not wanting to smile much, but we got some really cute expressions.

Morgan was one of my Class of 2011 Senior Models from Kamiak High School.  We got to meet again for her full session and this time we went down to Ballard and Golden Gardens Park.  We had so much fun and were able to get such a variety of looks. Seniors are so much fun to walk around with and try new things with… they are usually willing to try anything :)

Congratulations Morgan- Kamiak High School Class of 2011!

The New Look

November 17, 2010

Heather Culley Photography and Design has a new look!  After being in business for a year, I have really determined more what my style of photography and business is, and what direction I want to continue taking the business in.  One aspect I felt strongly about is that my photography style is much more clean than what my old branding showed.  I wanted to keep a similar color scheme, as the colors really work for me and the next aspect that my business is really about.  I feel very strongly that my business should have as little impact on the environment as possible, and in choosing my vendors, I have looked into their business practices, packaging, etc. to ensure I am making the right choices for my clients, my business, and the environment. There will be more on this later, but being a more green photographer is also part of the reason I changed my look to match my business.

You have already seen the new, clean look on the blog… here is the cleaner website (with some new, great features).
