I had the fun opportunity to photograph Megan on her Grandmother’s farm in Arlington.  What a fun place to do a senior photo session, especially since it meant so much to the family.  I love photographing at locations that mean a lot to my clients… it is so much fun to be able to capture emotions that are tied to the place they are in.

This location was so much fun, from a great field, to an awesome barn and other outbuildings, to a great mini orchard.

UW Graduation- Kassie

September 2, 2011

Wow!  Time Flies!  My little cousin, who I remember as a baby, and who I nannied when I was in college, just graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Law, Societies , and Justice.  What an amazing young woman Kassie has become… traveling to Rome to study abroad, working in the US State Attorney’s Office while in college, being an active member of her sorority, Gamma Phi Beta, becoming an accomplished dancer, and so much more.

Love ya Kass!

Morgan was one of my Class of 2011 Senior Models from Kamiak High School.  We got to meet again for her full session and this time we went down to Ballard and Golden Gardens Park.  We had so much fun and were able to get such a variety of looks. Seniors are so much fun to walk around with and try new things with… they are usually willing to try anything :)

Congratulations Morgan- Kamiak High School Class of 2011!

A little while ago, I met Jovonne and her mom in old town Issaquah to take her senior portraits.  Issaquah has some great locations to take pictures and Jovonne and I had a fun time searching out the best spots.  We dealt with a little rain shower, but the umbrellas kept us going until the rain stopped and we got some beautiful light.

Congratulations Jovonne- Mt. Si High School Class of 2011!

It has been awhile since I did a what to wear wednesday and since I am getting into senior portrait season, I figured I would do a post for the senior girls.  I have recently discovered the store, Love Culture and think they have some fun outfits for senior girls to wear in their portraits.  Here are a few that I liked, but go check out the store to see more great clothing options.  I love to see senior girls in cute dresses with fun accessories (i.e., jewelry, hats, sunglasses, etc.) or fun, layered outfits.  When you come for your session, bring lots of options and we can have a great time :)
